I recently spent Easter at Apartamentos La Ciudad in Ronda, and I must share both the charm and the challenges this destination presented. Located just steps from Ronda's vibrant old town, it boasts a lovely terrace where you can bask in the Andalusian sun, alongside an inviting little pool that was a refreshing escape from the warm weather. The peaceful atmosphere truly enhances its appeal, making it an ideal spot for relaxation after a day of exploring. Unfortunately, my experience included a significant hiccup in communication; upon arrival, my companions and I waited for over two hours for someone to let us in, which left us quite frustrated. Although we eventually accessed our room, it felt neglected and unclean, detracting from what could have been a lovely stay. With comfortable beds and spacious lounge areas in our apartments, I could appreciate the potential this place has to offer. Despite the rocky start, I found the location to be a perfect gateway to experience the breathtaking views of Ronda and its surroundings. With slightly better management, I believe Apartamentos La Ciudad could become an excellent choice for fellow travelers who, like myself, appreciate the blend of architecture, history, and modern comforts.
